BROTHER DAVID CARROLL HONORED

On 19 April 2008, Brother David Carroll was selected as one of the 50 religious in the New York metropolitan area to receive communion from the Holy Father at the Mass for priests and religious at St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City. On 20 April, Brother David attended a private reception with the Holy Father at the residence of the Papal Nuncio to the United Nations. Those in attendance had the opportunity to be greeted by the Holy Father. Brother David discussed his status as Middle East Advisor of the Holy See's Mission to the UN. In the second picture above, the Holy Father is presenting Brother David with a medal to commemorate his pastoral visit to the US.
