The Familiares of the De La Salle Christian Brothers held their Annual Christmas Dinner on 9 December 2007 at the Crest Hollow Country Club, Long Island, New York. Listed below are the three individuals honored and the citations.

The Anne O'Donnell Award was given to Noreen McCartney Haffner
- Noreen, daughter of George McCartney, St James Academy '31, and Margaret Donovan McCartney, grew up in Elmhurst, NY. Noreen graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School and received a BA from the College of New Rochelle. Noreen married Peter Haffner, Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School '62 and Manhattan College '66.
After a thirty-year career with the Southern New England Telephone Company, during which she led the company's IT, Strategic Planning Wireless Communications, and Market Planning functions, Noreen retired from SNET with the title Vice-President Marketing and Product Development in 1999.
Noreen has served on and chaired the Bishop Loughlin MHS Board of Governors and will soon be rejoining that Board. She has also served on and chaired the Board of the United Way of Greater New Haven, the Gaylord Hospital Board, Wallingford CT, the Hopkins School Committee of Trustees, New Haven CT.
Noreen and Peter have four sons, Gregory, Brian, Edward and James and reside in Hamden CT.

The Familiares Award was presented to Brother William E Mann FSC
For your faithfulness to your vocation as a Brother of the Christian Schools since 1965.
For your zeal and generosity in ministry to youth as a Teacher, Prefect, and Commandant of Cadets.
For your participation as Director in the formation of novices at Skaneateles, New York.
For your leadership as Provincial-Visitor of the LI-NE District
For your dedicaton and service to the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools as Formation Secretary and Vicar General.
The Familiares gratefuly acknowledge your many years of service and accomplishments.

The George A. Centrella, AFSC Award was conferred on Brother Philip Rofano FSC
For your faithfulness to your vocation as a Brother of the Christian Schools since 1964.
For your zeal and generosity in service to youth as a Teacher, Youth Minister and Executive Director.
For your caring presence and attention to the young men of Martin De Porres Group Homes.
For your dedication and service to the Board of Tides Family Service and the LI-NE District.
The Familiares gratefullly acknowledge your many years of service and accomplishments.
