The twelfth graduation exercises were held at San Miguel on Friday, June 13 at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church in Providence. In a class of 15 graduates, seven will be attending La Salle Academy, and three will move on to Saint Raphael Academy. The remaining five grads are either moving out of state or attending local charter schools. Financial aid totals over $85,000 for students moving on to local Lasallian high schools. The Brother Eugene Vorburger FSC Award for Academic Excellence was presented to Marcel Odom. The De La Salle Award for Service and Leadership was given to Alex Rosado and Diego Guevara. A new award, The Monique Flynn Award for Literacy was presented to McKinley Odom.
