On Sunday, March 18, the district Vocation Committee (part of Mission and Ministry Council) held its second meeting of the year at Manhattan College. Attending were Brothers Robert Hazard (LSA, and chair), Philip Rofrano (MdP), Edward Shields (St. Gabriel's), Thomas Carney (SRA), John Guasconi (Manhattan College), John McMahon (La Salle Center at Noble Street), as well as Cecilia Gottsegen and Regina Bratichak of Bishop Loughlin MHS.
Among the tasks of the Committee is the plan to have a Summer Internship this year for young men who will live in community and work in a Lasallian ministry of the LI-NE district. This special program will be highlighted on the website in the near future.
A special thank you to all members of this Committee and the other working Committees of the district. The good work of LI-NE is due to the commitment and service of many Lasallians throughout the district.
