ST. MARY'S COLLEGE JAN-TERMERS AT SAN MIGUEL

San Miguel, Providence, is home to 64 students and many Young Lasallians: Lasallian Volunteers, Former LSV's, LLI Participants, and in January, Jan-Termers from St. Mary's College of Moraga. This unique program from this Lasallian College enables their students to spend the intersession month of January doing service work and earning college credit for the experience.
This January, Kate Michalski (pictured above with 3 Miguel students) and Marina Hernandez worked side by side with other Young Lasallians on behalf of the needs of the students entrusted to their care during this month, in which they also lived at Miguel House with the three Brothers (Bill, Larry and Charlie) and two Lasallian Volunteers (Ashley and Megan) who comprise that community.
Often the experience of being a Jan-termer leads to a graduate applying to be a Lasallian Volunteer and serving the needs of our world. No matter what Kate and Marina decide for their futures, these Young Lasallians certainly have had the opportunity to grow in the Lasallian tradition, as professionals, as mentors and as educators. We thank them for their time at San Miguel and in LI-NE.
