Tides Family Services is a not-for-profit social service agency operating in the tradition of the DeLasalle Christian Brothers. Since 1983, Tides has committed its resources to addressing the needs of Rhode Island's most at risk children. Tides is a non-residential, alternative program for wayward, truant and adjudicated youth ages 9 - 21. Our mission is to provide the neediest youth and their families with the services they need at a critical time of their lives and to promote family preservation and support of youth within their communities through outreach, tracking, home visits, education, court advocacy and other non-traditional services, and to uphold the Christian Brothers Mission.
