Those propositions require each District to create a structure responsible for the Lasallian educational mission, in which all (the Brothers and their Associates) participate with a deliberative vote. The work of the Mission and Ministry Council complements that of the District Council and cooperates with and respects the decision-making authority of the local governing boards of the individual schools and agencies, especially as regards Lasallian mission. The deliberative votes of this Council in its areas of responsibility are final when approved by the Brother Visitor.
